### Challenge

[Lectric eBikes](https://lectricebikes.com/), the fastest-growing electric bike company in the United States, was using QuickBooks for accounting and had Shopify as their front-end and back-end website. Their warehouse management system (WMS), ShipHero, was not integrated with their accounting system, leading to manual processes and inefficiencies. As the company grew rapidly, selling over 450,000 eBikes in five years, they needed a scalable solution to handle their accounting and finance functions.

The lack of integration between systems meant that the accounting team had to manually enter data from Shopify and ShipHero into QuickBooks. This process was time-consuming, prone to errors, and hindered the company's ability to make quick decisions based on accurate financial data.

### Solution

With Jake Heinrich, Director of Finance, at the helm, Lectric eBikes replaced QuickBooks with Sage Intacct and engaged Venn Technology to integrate their systems. Venn Technology built custom integrations between Shopify, Sage Intacct, and ShipHero, creating a seamless data flow between the three systems.

To ensure a smooth transition, Venn worked closely with Brilliant Corners to map fields, enhance data quality, and pilot the integration.

> ### "Our accounting system upgrade wouldn't have happened without the integrations," said Jake Heinrich, Director of Finance at Lectric eBike

The integration automated the transfer of data from Shopify and ShipHero into Sage Intacct, eliminating the need for manual data entry. Heinrich emphasized, "The solution is helping us save on overhead, close the books faster, and make decisions quicker. Without the integration, we would need another headcount." This not only saved their team from hours of manual work but also ensured that the financial data in Sage Intacct was accurate and up-to-date.

### "I highly recommend Venn to any company looking to streamline their operations and enable growth through integration," said Jake Heinrich, Director of Finance at Lectric eBike

Venn Technology is proud to have helped Lectric eBikes streamline their accounting operations and set the stage for continued growth. By leveraging Venn's integration expertise, Lectric eBikes has been able to focus on their core business of producing fun and affordable electric bikes, while ensuring that their accounting and finance functions are efficient and scalable.
