Job Description
We go the extra mile. We do the right thing. Always. The Partner Manager is a critical role for the growth of Venn Technology and has internal facing and external facing components. *Partnership types include Referral, Resale, and Technology Partners (i.e. Stripe, Sage Intacct, Shopify, Acumatica, etc.). The partner management is responsible for influencing sales and driving partner recruitment.
Responsibilities:
Partnership Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing technology, ISV, VAR, and referral partners.
- Identify opportunities to deepen partnerships and drive mutual growth.
- Manage partner programs, including joint marketing initiatives, co-branded campaigns, and collaborative projects.
- Monitor partner performance and ensure compliance with partnership agreements.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and threats.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on initiatives related to solutions and partnerships.
New Partnership Development:
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that complement the company’s offerings.
- Conduct market research to identify potential partners and evaluate their fit with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Manage partnership agreements and ensure they are structured to deliver value for both parties.
- Collaborate with Marketing to execute go-to-market plans for new partnerships.
Partner Onboarding, Training & Support:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for partners to drive referrals for company solutions.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of training materials, including manuals, video tutorials, and FAQs, to assist partners in the sales process.
- Establish and share best practices for solution implementation, ensuring consistency and high-quality delivery across all partners.
Sales Enablement:
- Provide training and support to partner sales teams on the company’s solutions and partnership offerings.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop sales tools and resources, such as case studies, presentations, and whitepapers, to support partners in the sales process.
- Act as a liaison between partners, sales, and product development teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track KPIs and metrics to measure the success of partnership initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on performance and progress towards goals.
- Update CRM and other systems with relevant information no less than weekly.
Location
We are hiring for a full-time team member to be located within our Grapevine, Texas office. Relocation compensation is not available. The position will require occasional travel to visit client sites within the DFW metroplex and other cities across the US.
