Job Introduction

At Venn Technology, the Marketing Intern plays a supportive and growth-oriented role within the marketing team, contributing to campaigns, content creation, and operational initiatives while building foundational professional skills. This role is designed for learning and development, requiring a willingness to recognize straightforward problems, seek guidance when needed, communicate clearly with peers, and complete assigned work reliably under direction. The Marketing Intern contributes positively to team goals, manages daily tasks with supervision, and remains open to feedback and improvement as they develop core competencies across communication, teamwork, time management, and results orientation.

Job Responsibilities

Content & Creative Production

• Repurpose existing content into multi-channel assets (social posts, emails, graphics, short-form video, etc.)
• Create original graphics, templates, and visual content primarily in Canva (Adobe experience is a plus)
• Assist with blog writing, formatting, uploads, and basic webpage/content updates
• Write and refine copy for marketing collateral including web pages, social posts, event promotions, case studies, presentations, and more
• Proofread and copyedit marketing materials for clarity, tone, consistency, and grammar

Social Media & Community Monitoring

• Schedule and monitor social media posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
• Monitor social channels for trending topics and timely engagement opportunities
• Help maintain and contribute to the content/editorial calendar

Campaign, Events & Marketing Support

• Support marketing campaign planning and execution
• Assist with event and campaign preparation including asset creation, invitations, and coordination support
• Conduct competitor research and analyze marketing and sales materials
• Support additional marketing initiatives and special projects as assigned

Required Skills

Education & Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field preferred
• Relevant coursework or demonstrated interest in marketing, writing, or creative production
  

Skills

• Web savvy, skilled internet researcher
• Experienced writer and editor with sound knowledge of grammar and spelling
• Fluent in the English language, its rules and proper usage; experience with AP style preferred
• Excellent oral and written business communication skills
• Comfortable working in an Apple OS environment
• Basic video editing skills (short-form clips; Premiere Pro is a plus)
• Interest in SEO and digital marketing fundamentals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Google Workplace Suite
• Experience using Canva (required); Previous experience with the use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Premiere Pro) a plus
• Ability to use AI tools thoughtfully and responsibly
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Slack, or Asana a plus

Timing

Venn Technology is looking for a part-time, paid in-office marketing intern. This internship will run for 3 months beginning in April or May 2026, with the potential to extend to 6 months.

Location

We are hiring for our Grapevine, Texas office. Relocation compensation is not available. The position will require occasional travel to visit client sites within the DFW metroplex and other cities across the US.
